What is Yestersearch?

Yestersearch a customized search engine that browses through particular domains likely to host 'old web' content.

Currently, the domain list is as follows:

*.tripod.com
*.angelfire.com
geocities.restorativland.org
oocities.org was removed due to a large amount of broken links and incomplete pages. But I'm going to link to an oocities.org search soon!

Why was this created?

There's another nifty "old" image search called gifcities but it only shows moving gifs, so if you want to exclusive search for old images, you had to manually put the site tags in your Google search. I made this page as a shortcut.
